FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 picks — one band’s worth is a normal order — with volume tiers for festivals, retail and distribution.
How fast will my picks arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished picks ship in about 2 weeks, with express turnaround available when a tour or release date is fixed.
What gauge should we choose?
Thin and medium for strumming, because the flex is what makes a chord wash. Heavy for single-note playing, because no flex means all the energy goes into the string. And ask for the number in millimetres — “medium” covers roughly 0.6mm to 0.88mm depending on whose bag it came from, so the word tells you almost nothing.
Does the material really change the sound?
Yes, and more than the shape does. Celluloid is warm and wears fastest. Nylon is quieter on the attack and grips a damp hand. Delrin is brighter and extremely wear-resistant. Ultem is hard and clicks. Those are audible differences and almost nobody selling promotional picks mentions them.
Will our printed logo wear off?
On a pick that is actually played, yes — weeks to months. The strike edge is abraded by strings and the face by a thumb, which is precisely where the print is. That is fine for a giveaway and it is the wrong process for a keepsake, where the answer is laser-engraved metal or wood.
Our guitarist keeps dropping picks. What helps?
Nylon rather than polished celluloid, or a textured or raised-dot grip surface, or both. Under stage lights a hand gets warm and damp, and a glossy celluloid pick in that condition behaves like a bar of soap. It is a material problem, not a technique problem.
Can you print the gauge on the pick?
Yes, and on a shop or merch pick you should. A player who liked it can reorder the right one instead of guessing. It costs nothing to add and it is the most useful thing on a pick after your name.
Do you make drumsticks or vinyl?
No. Drumsticks are turned wood and records are pressed vinyl — entirely different manufacturing, and there are people who do each of them properly. We make picks and the tins, cards and packs they go in.
